Barcelona’s renovation project continues. The Catalans’ post-Lionel Messi has been very tough, as evidenced by the elimination of the Champions League and by the modest 8th place in La Liga, already 16 points off the lead.
This Monday, the Catalan press guarantees, Joan Laporta took advantage of her visit to Italy for the Golden Boy ceremony – won by Pedri – to meet with the well-known businessman Mino Raiola.
On the table were several player names but with one clearly highlighted: Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker from Borussia Dortmund is the Barcelona managers’ dream to be the ‘face’ of the new project and the meeting between Laporta and the businessman was positive, but the manager imposed a condition for the transfer to proceed: lower the usual millionaire commissions in the business you do.
Very recently, Mino Raiola stated that Barcelona, along with Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid, are one of the clubs to which Haaland could move.
