A BOLA – Grujic is the priority after Sérgio Oliveira (FC Porto) leaves

Grujic wants FC Porto and now, more than ever, FC Porto wants Grujic. With the imminent departure of Sérgio Oliveira to Fiorentina, the administration of FC Porto’s SAD is just waiting for the confirmation of the deal by the Portuguese international midfielder to start negotiations with Liverpool, the club that holds the 25-year-old Serbian international midfielder’s pass.

After a few days of vacation in the Algarve, Grujic has already returned to Serbia, but he made it clear, to FC Porto’s officials, as well as their representatives, his firm desire to continue at Dragão permanently. The 25-year-old midfielder wants to remain in the Champions League and knows that, after a season with adaptation in between, he has space at FC Porto to assume himself as a starter and gain space in the Serbian national team’s accounts.

If in a first phase Liverpool were asking 20 million euros to free Grujic, with whom they have a contract until June 2023, at the end of the season that level was lowered to a sum of around 17 million. Now FC Porto, even with the financial inflow of Sérgio Oliveira, is not willing to reach this amount, and is studying a first approach closer to 10 million, with later direct negotiation with the medium to lower the salary that earns in England, unaffordable for the Portuguese reality.
