As part of the recent exchange partnership between the referees of the Portuguese Football Federation and the French Football Federation, the match between Paços de Ferreira-SC Braga, for the fifth round of the League, scheduled for next Saturday (3:30 pm), will have an arbitration team from that country.
Willy Delajod, a 28-year-old international since 2018, will lead the match, with Banjamin Pages and Phillippe Jeanne as assistants, while Eric Wattelier will be at the VAR. João Gonçalves will be the 4th referee of the match, while Alexandre Castro will be assistant at the VAR.
In the opposite direction, there will be a Portuguese referee team in the French League match between Bordeaux and Lens, scheduled for September 12th. Luís Godinho will be the referee, Rui Teixeira and Bruno Jesus will be the assistant referees, VAR Bruno Esteves and AVAR Miguel Nogueira; the fourth referee will be appointed by the French Federation.
