Filipa Martins guaranteed, this Tuesday, the presence in the finals of the complete competition (all-around) and of asymmetric parallels in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, taking place in Kitakyushu, Japan.
It is the first Portuguese to guarantee presence in a final by apparatus at the World Cups, by finishing the qualification of the asymmetric parallel competition in eighth place, with 14,133 points, after having been ranked 17th in the same apparatus at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Filipa Martins also ensured her presence in the complete competition, with the sixth position in the qualification, with 53,032 points.
Debutants Maria Mendes and Rafaela Ferreira finished qualifying for the full competition in the 39th (47,033) and 52nd (43,698) positions, respectively.
