Luís Figo commented on the moment of João Félix, a Portuguese striker who last Saturday was highlighted in Atlético Madrid’s (2-0) victory over Barcelona.

«João has immense quality. Of course it depends on the team’s interests and the coach’s decisions. [n.d.r. Diego Simeone], but it’s much easier to get income when he plays in your position. That’s where it can really show all its quality as a technical repertoire», said the former Portuguese international in an interview with EFE.

Félix was involved in both plays that resulted in goals from Thomas Lemar and Luis Suárez, a victory that kept Atlético in second place with the same points (17) as leaders Real Madrid.
