Product of Varzim’s formation, Luís Neto had a special reunion at Estádio da Alvalade. After the final whistle, which dictated the victory of Sporting (2-1) in the fourth round of the Cup of Portugal, the central Leonino took the opportunity to review some family members who were on the other side of the barricade.
The first to embrace him was uncle Vitoriano Ramos, a member of António Barbosa’s technical team. This was followed by Ricardo Nunes, Varzim’s substitute goalkeeper, who is the Portuguese international’s cousin.
