Dolores Aveiro, mother of Cristiano Ronaldo, was one of more than 72,000 people who saw the Portuguese’s return to Old Trafford live on Saturday. A Twitter user noted the moment when Dolores gets emotional, apparently after Ronaldo scored the first goal against Newcastle, on the verge of half-time.
The 36-year-old scored twice in the 4-1 victory, marking his return in the best possible way.
