Cristiano Ronaldo turned to social media to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022, publishing a photograph with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, and their four children, Cristianinho, Alana, Mateo and Eva.
“2021 comes to an end and it was not an easy year, despite my 47 goals scored in all competitions. Two clubs and five different coaches. A Euro finals with my national team and a qualification that is pending for 2022. At Juventus I was proud to win the Coppa Italia and the Super Cup, in addition to becoming the top scorer in Serie A. For Portugal I became the European top scorer, which was one of the highlights of my year. And, of course, my return to Old Trafford will always be one of the most iconic points of my career», wrote the player, in a balancing act, soon defining the main goal for this new year:
“But I’m not happy with what we’ve been doing at Manchester United. None of us are. I am sure of that. We know we have to work harder, play more and match better than what we’ve matched so far.
