Cristián Romero, the 23-year-old Argentinian defender who was voted best of his position in Serie A last season with Atalanta, was confirmed this Friday as a Tottenham reinforcement.
Romero was at the Bergamo club on loan from Juventus, having been given the option to purchase outright with the Turin emblem for €16 million, immediately agreeing to transfer to Tottenham, where he will be coached by Nuno Espírito Santo.
The amounts involved were not disclosed, but the English press points to 55 million euros.
