The Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation announced, this Monday, a disciplinary process against Benfica. A measure taken after Sporting’s participation.
At issue are leonine complaints with the controversy surrounding tickets for the 13th round derby. At the time, Sporting criticized Benfica’s conditioning in issuing tickets, by demanding the transfer of personal data, and announced a participation.

«Institution of disciplinary proceedings against Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol SAD, by resolution of the Professional Section, of December 14, 2021, following the disciplinary participation made by Sporting Clube de Portugal – Futebol SAD, with the possible object of non-compliance with obligations regulations relating to admission titles.
The process was sent, on December 16, 2021, to the Instructors Committee of the Portuguese Professional Football League, publicity being excluded until the end of the instruction».
