Benfica confirmed this Saturday morning that they reached an agreement with Arsenal for the permanent transfer of left-back Nuno Tavares.
At the same time, the London club welcomed the player who joined Benfica in 2015/16, to play in the Youth, then went on to Juniors, Benfica B and in 2019/20 rose to the main squad, having played in 16 games and scored a goal. In the 2020/21 season it was used in 25 matches.
Nuno Tavares has already completed the necessary days of isolation and should soon start training. You’re going to wear shirt number 20.
