Spain will make their World Cup debut in Qatar against Costa Rica on Wednesday and Luis Enrique has some new additions in store in the starting XI.
According to AS, Rodri, usually Manchester City’s defensive midfielder, and Aymeric Laporte, also a Citizens player, will be in central defence. On the right side of the back sector there will also be an adapted player, in this case Marcos Llorente, a native midfielder, given that Dani Carvajal, with a sore throat, will not be among the coach’s options.
The midfield will be all ‘made in’ Barcelona, with Busquets, Pedri and Gavi, while in attack the presence of Pablo Sarabia, a former Sporting player, stands out in support of Álvaro Morata.
