Today, precisely, the tenth anniversary of that date is fulfilled, with the summary of this period being an ever-increasing trajectory, with a firm and consolidated leadership, several titles in the curriculum and a way of being very typical of the man who was born in Coimbra in the 15th November 1974.
After a rich career as a player, representing clubs such as Académica (in training), Penafiel, Leça, Felgueiras and FC Porto (Portugal), Lazio, Parma and Inter (Italy), Standard Liège (Belgium), Qadsia (Kuwait) and PAOK (Greece), also assuming the international status of the National Team, Sérgio Conceição did not choose to be coach right away. He was sports director at the Thessaloniki club for two seasons and, in 2010, he left the offices for field work, as assistant to Dominique D’Onofrio at Standard Liège.
