After the warning that had already left on social networks, soon after the elimination in the round of 16 of the French Cup, the Collectif Ultras Paris, PSG cheerleaders, issued a statement with strong criticism of the leaders of the Paris emblem.
Although PSG are leaders in Ligue 1 with a 13-point lead over second-place Marseille, and although they are in the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will measure forces with Real Madrid, the most influential group of supporters of the Parisian club, where the Portuguese Danilo and Nuno Mendes play, do not seem to be satisfied and demand more.
The statement reads:
“For too long the club has offered us a face we no longer support. A club that accumulates stars like a spoiled child. A club that dreams so high that it gives the impression that the season doesn’t start until February, disregarding national titles. We no longer recognize our club. Today, our patience has reached the limit. The constant changes of coaches will never contribute to a coherent project. The players who are not used much and for whom soccer doesn’t seem to be a priority anymore, also. There is also a management of young players that is incomprehensible and a lack of respect for the women’s team, in addition to the privileged treatment to certain elements, `worthy of a soap opera’.”
