As part of the project to set up the blood bank of the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Bouskoura, the Hospital opened, with the assistance of the Regional Center for Blood Transfusion Casablanca – Settat, its new blood donation unit. , Wednesday, March 08, 2023.
The establishment of this new unit will allow better availability and optimal management of the sang to meet the increasingly important demands linked to the increase in the activity of the Hospital, particularly in the cases of high-risk pregnancies and other life-threatening emergencies. It will also contribute to bringing blood donation points closer to the catchment area of Mohammed VI International University Hospital and relieve the pressure of request for blood on the regional blood transfusion centers.
The first blood donation campaign, co-organized on this occasion with the Regional Blood Transfusion Center Casablanca – Settatsaw the participation of several associative actors as well as the collaborators of theMohammed VI International University Hospital and aroused the enthusiasm of the local population who demonstrated their commitment to this noble cause.
