Twenty years ago, the first Magnum came out of the Case Ih production lines in Brazil. For the occasion, the Curitiba plant is producing a limited edition full black version of its 400 horsepower flagship.
It is primarily to circumvent the heavy taxes linked to imports on Brazilian soil, but also to shorten delivery times while relieving the Racine production line in Wisconsin (USA) that the American tractor manufacturer has devoted part from its Curitiba plant to its largest conventional tractor. And this is why the Brazilian subsidiary has planned to offer a limited number of Magnum 400 “Black Knight” this year (note: which was also produced last year at Racine in the USA), for the domestic market and specifically to commemorate 20 years of production and more than 6,000 examples produced in Brazil.
The first example of this Magnum 400 AFS Connect was presented at the Show Rural Coopavel show in Brazil recently, fitted with Trelleborg TM900 High Power tires (600/70R30 front and 800/70R38 rear). Inside the cabin, the latest AFS Pro 1200 technology is included. The seats and steering wheel are upholstered in red synthetic leather.
