A bit of history for Montréjeau

After a season full of meetings and events (trip to Zaragoza, events at the Saint-Raymond Museum in Toulouse, at the Domus de Cieutat at Eauze 32, at the Heritage Days at Saint-Lizier 09, at the Caumont Castle at Cazaux savès 32, at the Villa de Loupian 34 and in Montréjeau for the 750th anniversary of the Bastide Royale), the gladiators of the Montreal association “Un Poil d’Histoire”, together with other French and Italian associations, took part in the Roman festival on 8 and 9 October “Spectacular Lugdunum”, organized by the Museum of the Ancient Theater of Lyon.

About 30,000 spectators flocked to the place where six fighting performances took place under the eyes of the emperor Hadrian.

The gladiators were particularly distinguished by their enthusiasm, their technique and the quality of their equipment.

Congratulations to Un Poil d’Histoire.
