He believes the strict infection control regime did not affect the charge for Tuesday’s semi-final.

– It’s a bit like a camp school or a kindergarten. We are escorted around, says the artist to NTB.

He talks about a scheme where the messages are, for example, “Go there”, “Stay away from here” and “Do not touch anything”.

– This feels like the safest place I’ve ever been. And I really appreciate that people treat me like a kindergarten child. I think it’s okay. I fly around anyway, so someone else can stop me and set boundaries, says Tix.

Warming up with Disney

The program before the first dress rehearsal on Monday afternoon is ready.

– Now we will enjoy ourselves and sing in the locker room. There will probably be a lot of Disney we will sing to warm up. It is important to have fun, so that the boys are not too tight when they go on stage, says the Norwegian artist.

– Then we will build confidence. We must remember that the performance we make today is not broadcast on TV, but it is still very important, he continues.

The second general examination on Monday night forms the basis for the professional juries’ assessments, which in turn make up half of the points to be distributed.
