A biker dies in the Brussels ring: he would have hit a pole

A biker lost his life in an accident on Saturday outside the Brussels outer ring, near Dilbeek, said the federal police. The victim was 64 years old and originally from Liège. No other vehicle was allegedly involved in the accident. The biker is said to have struck a pole, but the precise circumstances have yet to be established. An expert from the Hal-Vilorde public prosecutor’s office was sent to the site.

Three lanes of traffic were closed to traffic following the collision, as shown in the photo sent by Valentini via Alert Us. Cars are invited to go through the emergency stop lane. Lines were still observed from Zellik, almost two hours after the accident.
