GERB’s list in Plovdiv is ready, and it is expected to be registered in DEC – 16 on Sunday, writes TrafficNews.
The biggest surprise is the inclusion in fourth place of the young activist of the party Pencho Malinov. He was chairman of the youth organization of GERB, and was a municipal councilor for two terms. He will take the place of Vezhdi Rashidov, who refused to run in the elections.
There are no surprises for the first three places – the leader is Boyko Borisov, the second is the local leader Ivan Totev, and the third is the lawyer Radomir Cholakov. After Pencho Malinov is another prominent representative of GERB in Plovdiv – the former head of the RIEW and the Department of Ecology in the Municipality of Plovdiv, Assoc. Prof. Stefan Shilev.
The regional mayors of “Trakia” and “Eastern” Kostadin Dimitrov and Ivan Stoyanov are 6th and 7th, respectively, and after them is the former municipal councilor and deputy director of RHI Argir Argirov.
The tenth place was given to the UDF, and most likely it will be the former Minister of Health Dr. Ilko Semerdzhiev. Spas Garnevski’s expectations to be in an elective position also did not come true. The veteran has taken the honorable 22nd last position in the GERB list.
GERB’s plans are for four terms of 16 MIR, and Boyko Borissov will probably give up his place in Plovdiv. This means that up to 5th place candidates are eligible to vote on July 11th.
