Viktor Prazov, who headed the Plovdiv Security Police, has been fired disciplinary. This was confirmed to “Maritsa” by reliable sources from the Ministry of Interior. At around 12 o’clock today, he was visited at his home address by “Personnel” officers, who handed him the order.
Prazov was removed after an inspection and investigation by Internal Security. A number of violations were found during the appointed inspection. Viktor Prazov was head of the Security Police at the time when Plovdiv Police Director was Senior Commissioner Yordan Rogachev.
After he was removed and disciplined, the directorate in Plovdiv began to cast – from a spokesman, through heads of sectors to a director. Then Prazov was replaced by Commissioner Kostadin Kostov, and he himself was transferred to the Sofia system.
Less than a year later, he was disciplined.
