A huge natural gas area has been uncovered off the coastline of Cyprus, the government and the Italian strength business “Eni” declared on Monday.
The purely natural gas area was discovered by the Italian and French electrical power consortium “Eni-Full”, and could consist of about 70 billion cubic meters of pure fuel, mentioned Cyprus Strength Minister Natasa Pileidou.
In a statement, Eni cited an “important locate” at a depth of 2,287 meters and about 160 kilometers from the coastline of Cyprus.
In 2011, the US corporation “Noble Energy” has now identified big natural gasoline fields in the distinctive economic zone of Cyprus, drilling additional east of the latest discoveries.
Disagreements have because arisen with neighboring Turkey around the use of fuel.
