Notice to amateurs! From Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 May, will take place on whiskey festival in toulouse. Thus, for two days, the Pink City will become the European capital of whiskey.

Discovering malt alcohol
Back in the Pink City for its 4th edition, the Toulouse Whisky Festival stands out as “the great Toulouse whiskey mass”. This unique event aims to introduce participants to whiskeys from around the world.
“Building on the success of previous years and to meet growing demand, the festival is expanding once again to offer you ever more malt discoveries”, announce the organizers on the page Event Facebook. Thus, more than 70 producers and bottlers will be gathered under the same roof for a weekend. More than 200 different references and distilleries will be presented. The appointment is given from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Espaces Vanel Arche Marengo, on the site of the Toulouse media library.
A “watered” program
The program will turn heads. Free tastings, masterclass workshops, snacks… Epicureans won’t have time to get bored. Several spaces will be set up on the 900m2 of surface occupied by the festival in honor of this brownish alcohol. Thus, epicureans will be able to take advantage of a mixology space to discover a new “cocktail” facet of whisky, an ephemeral shop, but also a collector’s corner (“Old and rare”) to taste nuggets of yesteryear and other rarities. A “Bar craft beer” will also be available. A unique opportunity to meet people around a good glass of local craft beer. The weekend promises to be watered.
Note that reservation is essential to participate in the festival. To obtain the precious sesame, whiskey lovers will have to go to the festival website. The weekend pass is priced at 59.90 euros. It will take 34.90 euros for the day of Saturday or Sunday. The masterclass workshops are also done on registration at the price of 5 euros. “No sale will be made on site”, warn the organizers of Facebook before recalling that “alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. To be consumed in moderation”.
