Small robot, big notoriety. The gamble has more than paid off for Nelly Pitt, a French entrepreneur who took her first steps as an entrepreneur in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) by launching the BeautyMix brand and its robot which helps “Do It Yourself” enthusiasts to create their own hygiene, beauty and even maintenance products.
A commercial success for four years
In four years, BeautyMix has become a promising company. Its founder, Nelly Pitt, won, on Monday June 20, 2022, the “20th edition” prize of the Fémin’Initiatives competition, a trophy which means that she is the winner, among more than 100 business leaders, for representing entrepreneurship at the women in Eure-et-Loir. “However, it was not really a vocation,” she reacted to the presentation of this award.
Imagined since 2018 by this mother concerned about the ingredients that were in baby products, the BeautyMix now has nearly 20,000 subscribers on Instagram and thousands of followers.
Creating jobs: a source of pride for the founder of BeautyMix
This little robot has established itself in the world of home cosmetics. Its mobile application makes it possible to carry out more than sixty recipesfrom care products to make-up…
Today, a robot sells every fifteen minutes.
Numbers are one thing, but the mother of the little robot is above all “proud to create a team, now we are eleven”.
Soon to be sold internationally?
The polytechnic engineer, supported in this project by the Eure-et-Loir CCI incubator, in the heart of the Cosmetic Valley, now wishes to market its product in Europe (it is already sold in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium). After a passage on television a few months ago, BeautyMix wanted to seduce other European distributors by exhibiting next September in Berlin.
