Welcome to “the city at the gates of gold”, home to world-renowned artists such as Louis Majorelle, Émile Gallé and Antonin Daum. Lovers of bucolic walks will have a great time thanks to the various Art Nouveau discovery circuits in the city: the splendors of the Brasserie Excelsiorthe stained glass windows of the Chamber of Commerce and some Maison Schottthe 4 canopies of wisteria of the old Genin Seed Shop etc ! Whether independently, or with an audio guide provided by the Tourist Office, several circuits and themes are available to you.
Nocturnal walkers will roam with delight the Place Simone Veil including 756 glass blocks reproducing floral motifs from the Ecole de Nancy, illuminated by the underground car park. Two steps away, Villa Majorellea jewel of Art Nouveau, with fluid and floral lines from the stairwell to the scrolls of the ceilings, is an unforgettable visit to a spatio-temporal fault in the company of the artist Louis Majorelle and the architect Henri Sauvage!

On June 11 and 12, the Villa Majorelle will host events around glass and stained glass that will delight lovers of beauty!
Beaux-arts museum will also open the doors of its Daum space which houses 300 exceptional glass works, born from the emulation of the Ecole de Nancy, from 1878 to the present day. Because this creative momentum continues today with contemporary glassmakers, to the delight of all. Nothing better, after the shimmering colors of the exhibition, than a refreshment on the myriad terraces that flank the museum, in the heart of the sumptuous Place Stanislas considered the most beautiful royal square in Europe!
