A BATHING APE® and ALPHA INDUSTRIES, which was born in 1959, collaborate again to reimagine streetwear and military fashion with traditional Japanese craftsmanship, releasing a new joint series.
A BATHING APE® Among them, the double-sided kimono jacket and the classic MA-1 jacket are all presented with the traditional Japanese SASHIKO embroidery process. The signature elements of both parties include BAPE® classic ape head, camouflage print, ALPHA INDUSTRIES’ “FLYING A” logo and both parties’ signature elements. Details such as the brand name and birth year are injected into the clothes, and the back is inspired by the Japanese folk art Ukiyo-e to create a beautifully embroidered Ukiyo-e style reproduction of the BAPE® collection pattern, paying tribute to traditional Japanese culture. In addition, A BATHING APE® and ALPHA INDUSTRIES once again joined hands with MEDICOM TOY to create a three-party joint model N-3B BE@RBRICK doll. The overall visual focus is military green camouflage and shark patterns, and the whole body is painted with ALPHA INDUSTRIES classic N-3B parka. Printing, released in 100% & 400% suit size versions.
