South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported early Sunday, quoting the South Korean army, that North Korea had launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
The missile’s range, altitude and speed were not reported.
The Japanese Broadcasting Channel, quoting government sources, confirmed that a ballistic missile allegedly launched by the DPRK fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
