Rio Ave is being affected by an outbreak of Covid-19. At least a dozen players, the technical team led by Luís Freire, who was also sick, and several staff members said they were positive, and they are all already in the isolation period.
For now, it is certain that the Administration led by António Silva Campos will expose the situation to the League and ask Covilhã to postpone the game scheduled for Friday.
Given the situation, the possibility that the training sessions will be canceled for a few days to reduce all contacts to a minimum and contain new outbreaks of infection is not ruled out, a scenario which, however, will only be decided after new tests are carried out this Tuesday -market.
