The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigations (Ditreskrimsus) of the Bali Regional Police (Polda) revealed that two perpetrators were suspected of being producers and distributors of bad video wearing traditional Balinese clothing. The video was shot with a moving car.
The head of public relations of the Bali Regional Police, Police Commissioner Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto, said that the two authors of the videomaker and distributor had no relationships other than normal friendship. The male offender is from Sesetan, Bali, while the female offender is from Bogor.
“The perpetrator was arrested, the male MMDI (28) is from Denpasar, while the female is DNL (26) from Bogor, lives in Depok and has now been insured to the Bali police,” Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto told a press conference in Bali Bali Police Lobby Ditreskrimsus, as reported by BetweenThursday (22/9/2022).
Satake Bayu said the method used by the two suspects in the case was to make a video and then upload it.To share to a group sharing the same sexual orientation, anyone can perform similar acts to a known partner in the group.
From the statements of the two guilty, the police said that the two guilty first met through the Twitter application, then they became friends. Over time, they both have a desire to do such indecent things.
At first, the video recorded on the attacker’s cell phone was made just to satisfy the fantasy. However, then came the intention to publish the video via the Twitter application.
After completing the action, the woman shared it on social networks through her Twitter account with the man’s consent.
The evidence that was secured by investigators from the Bali Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate in the form of two cell phones, traditional Balinese clothing worn by the authors, watches and a vehicle used by the authors.
For these actions, the two suspects were charged with article 27 paragraph 1 of the ITE law in conjunction with article 45 paragraph 1 of law no. 19 of 2016 and article 4 in conjunction with article 29 of the pornography law n. 44 of 2008 with a maximum sentence of 12 years of imprisonment and a maximum fine of IDR 6 billion.
