This week, musician Jānis Stībelis, public relations specialist Paula Roze, bather Juris Batņa and comedian Džemma Sudraba will challenge themselves in preparing and hosting guests on the TV3 show “Almost Ideal Dinner”.
This week’s reception will be opened by the female comedy comedian Jemma Sudraba. She is not fond of complicated recipes and mostly tries to avoid a huge effort on the stove, so she will serve relatively simple dishes to her guests.
The next guest will be welcomed by musician Jānis Stībelis. He likes to do everything very correctly and even meticulously – he will prove it both when shopping and when preparing a meal with the precision of a jeweler. Jānis will surprise the guests with fine dishes and even home-made ice cream, but will entertain guests with something exclusive – a concert.

The third evening will be spent under the leadership of Paula Roze, a public relations specialist and “influencer” who is no stranger to cooking. Paula will serve dishes with maximum natural flavors and minimal spices on her guests’ plates. She will also have given special thought to serving food – it will be a whole story about Paul’s life.
Bathhouse Juris Batņa will be the last host of this week and for him, participation in the “Almost Perfect Dinner” will be one of the biggest challenges of life. When preparing a dessert, he will be so upset that he will add salt instead of sugar. Will he manage to win the weekly prize with the salty cake?
