PaPeople are generally afraid of snakes. So what if you see a snake inside the house and in the bedroom? The snake was found above the bed in Queensland, Australia. Zachary’s Snake and Reptile Relocation shared pictures of the snake on their Facebook page and described the incident.

The snake catcher reached the spot after a young woman reported that she had found a poisonous snake in her bedroom. The woman saw the snake while changing the bed linen. At first they panicked but then informed the snake catchers. “They were waiting for me outside the room when I arrived. They had closed the bedroom door under a cloth door, so the snake did not crawl into any other room. When I opened the door and entered, the six-foot long snake was sitting on the bed looking at me,” said the snake catcher.

It is believed that the snake entered through the open door as it was hot outside. The snake was caught and released in the nearby forest. The Eastern Brown Snake is the second most venomous snake found in Australia. Its venom contains a powerful neurotoxin, a bite that gradually paralyzes the nerves in the victim’s heart, lungs, and diaphragm, eventually leading to suffocation.
