A 6.1 earthquake on the east coast of Taiwan… There is no damage to life or property

[아시아경제 권재희 기자] On the 7th at 1:36 am (local time), a 6.1 Richter-scale earthquake occurred under the sea, 85 km east of Iran, Taiwan.
The Richter scale 6.1 is a level where it is difficult to stand and can cause great damage to the building.
The location of the epicenter is 24.66 degrees north latitude, 122.6 degrees east longitude, and 112 km underground. This earthquake detected a vibration of maximum magnitude 4 in eastern Taiwan.
In many places in central and northern Taiwan, including Taipei, vibrations of magnitude 2 or more were felt.
Many Taiwanese citizens were awakened as a result of an earthquake in the early morning hours, and multiple official national warnings were issued.
According to the local media, there have been no cases of major human or property damage.
