A 50-12 months-previous was identified useless in her residence on the night of Sunday 14 August 2022, in the Palmiste district of Le Lamentin. A knife was also found on the location by the emergency services, alerted by neighbors. The latter experienced just received their palms on an alleged perpetrator in the victim’s backyard garden.

A 54-year-outdated female was uncovered dead in her home in the Palmiste community of Le Lamentin on Sunday, August 14, 2022. She was reportedly killed by a knife found out on the place, a tragedy that happened between 8pm and 9pm. .
It was neighbors who alerted the police just after vigorously arresting a gentleman in the victim’s yard.
The alleged suspect in this murder was arrested in the evening. In certain, he will have to explain his existence on the scene and specify his marriage with the deceased fifty-12 months-aged.
In a press release dated August 15, the UFM (the Union of Martinique Gals) deplores this demise and stresses the duty of nearby elected officers “in the encounter of expanding violence” in the island.
As a first response, we want to say our deep emotion and our disgust for this new destroyed everyday living that practically nothing can demonstrate. Once all over again, we are unable to stay silent and, when all over again, we must say forcefully and together: NO! Confronted with the raise in violence in our region, what job does this violence versus women engage in in our political proposals? Nobody !
