A mother offered to be a gestational carrier for her daughter, and soon found out that she was pregnant too.
A woman, named Kelsi Pierce, and her husband Kyle were struggling three years ago to be parents and infertility did not allow them. So the woman’s mother, Lisa Rutherford, volunteered as a gestational carrier.
The 53-year-old woman confirmed her grandson’s pregnancy on February 15. While at the end of March, his is, 31, found out she was also pregnant despite alleged infertility.
Fortunately, Lisa gave birth to the is of the couple, Everly, on October 1 in Michigan, United States. And almost two months later, Kelsi gave birth to her is Ava, on November 23 in Minnesota.
“It’s so surreal,” said Kelsi, speaking with ABC News, after having been the mother of two children after years of fighting infertility. And she added excitedly: “I keep pinching myself, as if I can’t believe this is my life.”
The new parents had already tried surgeries and in vitro fertilization to have a baby, however, they went into debt without achieving their greatest wish. “It was a very depressing time,” she recalled.

For her part, the pregnant grandmother said: “When you have children, you want their life to be better, easier and more satisfying than yours.” And then he noted, “I thought I didn’t have money to give you, but here’s what I can do to make your dream come true. It wasn’t even a question. ”
“It was a very emotional conversation, of course, but I understood that we had tried everything possible,” concluded Kelsi, moved by the help of her mother as a gestational carrier.
