According to Taiwanese media on the 18th, Li Mo, a 60-year-old living in Nantou, in central Taiwan, was suspected of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl who came to karaoke with her parents on the 13th, and died on the 16th.
As a result of a police investigation, the girl went to the bathroom to find her father who had been away to smoke and encountered Lee.
Lee went to the parking lot where waste was piled up behind the back door of the karaoke room with the girl.
After a while, the parents of the child, who returned, felt the daughter’s behavior strange, and after an accusation, Lee took off her pants and confessed that she had committed obscene acts. Upon hearing this, the parents were angry and found Mr. Lee on the road opposite the karaoke room, and they quarreled and beat him.
Lee, who suffered a severe injury with four broken ribs and bleeding, was transferred to the hospital, but died.
Nantou prosecutors summoned and investigated the parents of a child who had been punished privately on charges of injuries and negligence, and then set bail of 15,000 Taiwan dollars (about 580,000 won) each.
