A 4-year-old boy died at the Laura Daniela Clinic in Valledupar, as a result of the injuries he suffered when he fell into a bucket of water when he was in his home.
The authorities reported that the minor suffered the accident on November 13, when he was in the care of his grandmother while his parents were working.
The grandmother reported that that day she left both the 4-year-old boy and his 6-year-old brother watching television in the room on the first floor of the house, and she went to the kitchen to prepare food. In a not very long period of time she returned and realized that the child was not in the same place.
When he saw where it was, he found it inside a bucket with water that they had in the room so that the air conditioning drain would fall, which due to technical failures, expelled it to the interior part of the house.
The adult, upon seeing what happened, quickly took the child out of the bucket and asked the neighbors for help until he took him to the clinic, where he remained for two weeks in a delicate state of health until his death on Thursday afternoon.
The CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office carried out the technical inspection of the body.
