Three teachers and 13 students infected
A 39-year-old man with a vaccine and without concomitant diseases died of COVID in Plovdiv, RHI reported. The other 8 who lost the battle with the infection in the last 24 hours had concomitant diseases and did not have immunizations. The oldest is 89 years old.
During the past 24 hours, the Emergency Medical Center has answered 217 calls. Of these, 33 are COVID-19 related. 15 people were hospitalized in Plovdiv and 6 in the district. 12 were left for home treatment.
237 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Plovdiv region on September 28, according to the Unified Information Portal. The report of RHI – Plovdiv, shows that 56 patients are treated in hospital and 189 are treated at home. Among the newly diagnosed there is one doctor. Of the teaching staff, three teachers are positive. Thirteen students also fell ill. Contact children and teachers have been quarantined. The two-week morbidity is 292.5 per 100,000 population.
The hospitalized patients from Plovdiv region to date are 522, 450 of them are in therapeutic treatment, 72 – in intensive care, 46 are intubated.
