The Canary Islands have registered 122 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so that the accumulated total in the islands rises to 53,964 in the archipelago, while the number of deaths reaches 750 deaths after a woman dies, 39 years old, in Tenerife, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained in hospital admission, according to the data that the Regional Executive Health Department advances daily after 2:00 p.m.
Thus of the total of cases, 2,730 are active (-104), of which 69 are admitted to ICU (-2), 253 are hospitalized (-4) and 2,408 are at home (-98). In addition, 50,484 people have already overcome the disease on the islands after receiving 225 discharge in the last hours.
Refering to Cumulative Incidence (HE) 7 days in the Canary Islands falls to 38.88 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days it drops to 83.73 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 1,079,661 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 57,347 have tested positive, representing 5.31 percent of the total.
By islands, Tenerife adds 77 new infections with a total of 23,447 accumulated cases, of which 1,814 are epidemiologically active (-74), 417 have died (+1) and 21,216 have overcome the disease; While Gran Canaria has 22,019 accumulated cases (+33), of which 735 are active (-34), 261 have perished and 21,023 were discharged.
Lanzarote, for its part, accumulate 5,091 (+7), of which 146 are epidemiologically active (+3), 48 have died and 4,897 were discharged; Fuerteventura have 2,273 accumulated cases (+4), of which 19 are active (+4), 13 died and 2,241 have overcome the disease.
The Palm, for its part, add a new case with a cumulative 538, of which eight are active (+1), six have died and 524 overcame the disease; El Hierro continues with a cumulative 363, of which four are active (-4), four perished and 355 have been discharged.
La Gomera does not have new cases either and accumulates 231, of which there are three active, one person has died and 227 have overcome the virus.
