The fire broke out near the Burj Khalifa
According to the Associated Press, a fire broke out in a 35-story building in Dubai near the iconic Burj Khalifa skyscraper. So far it is unclear whether there are any injuries. When the AP team arrived at the scene, the firefighters managed to put it out. The cause of the fire has not yet been announced.

In recent years, a series of high-rise fires in Dubai have raised questions about the safety of the materials used in their construction. In 2015, on New Year’s Eve, a fire broke out in Address Downtown, one of the most luxurious hotels and residential complexes in Dubai, also located in a skyscraper near the Burj Khalifa.
