“A 30-Year-Old Shot Dead at Marseille’s Old Port: Possible Personal Dispute”

A 30-year-old was shot dead on Wednesday shortly before 4 a.m. in an alley in the immediate vicinity of the Old Port of Marseille, learned 20 Minutes from police sources, confirming information from BFM Marseille. He was targeted at the exit of a night establishment.

A heavily intoxicated suspect was arrested shortly after in possession of a handgun. For the time being, the investigators favor a personal dispute rather than violence linked to drug trafficking.
