a 30-year-old killed in a road trip in Saint-Chamond

A serious road accident occurred overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday on the A47 in the Saint-Étienne/Lyon direction.

A 33-year-old man lost his life around 12:30 a.m. near Saint-Chamond. He was in cardiopulmonary arrest when firefighters arrived.

For some reason, his vehicle hit the right side of the road. The driver died in shock.

The victim would be the only one involved in the accident.

This is the 19th victim on the roads of the department. The results of the past 30 days are alarming. Since May 25, 10 people have lost their lives in a road accident in the Loire.
