A 30-centimeter American snake was picked up by the Deux-Sèvres firefighters this Thursday evening around 8:30 p.m. in Niort, Place du Temple, in the city center. She was found in an apartment, apparently not that of its owners.
The animal snake is not poisonous. The head of the NAC specialty unit, new pets, firefighters intervened.
The snake will be entrusted to a temporary foster family “pending a probable manifestation of its owner”, indicate the firefighters of Deux-Sèvres.
