Al-Marsad Newspaper: A medical team from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz Hospital managed to save the life of a 3-year-old girl from suffocation.
The medical team pulled a piece of metal from her pharynx during an operation, while Jeddah Health said the little girl arrived with her family at the hospital’s emergency room, and was in a state of constant crying, difficulty swallowing and loss of appetite.
The medical team performed an emergency laparoscopic surgery to remove the foreign body, which turned out to be a coin stuck in the pharynx.
