A contestant surnamed Lin (29 years old) fell into a coma and was admitted to the intensive care unit after being knocked down by his opponent, a white man. He was pronounced dead on the evening of the 11th; Prosecutors from the Public Prosecutor’s Office conducted a physical examination. The deceased Lin Nan fought against his opponent Bai (25 years old). The contestant surnamed Ben was still talking to others, and after sitting down suddenly, he was taken to Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital by the on-site ambulance staff and private ambulance.
Lin Nan’s coma index was three, and he was treated in the intensive care unit after admission. The hospital continued to treat him to reduce brain pressure, but he was finally declared dead on the evening of the 11th. The police notified the Qiaotou District Prosecutor’s Office for a criminal interrogation.
