The young woman had a coronavirus infection and doctors could not save her
A 28-year-old woman in labor is among the victims of Covid-19 in Sliven for the period from October 11 to 17, the Regional Crisis Headquarters announced.
The young woman was pregnant with twins who were degenerated. There is no evidence that the mother had concomitant diseases.
Sliven district is in the dark red zone, as the incidence reached 575.18 people per 100,000 population, with an average value for the country of 500, 60 people. The analysis of the health authorities is that it is there is a tendency to increase the number of patients, but at a slower pace, unlike other regions in the country. As a result of the temporary anti-epidemic measures in force in the district, a decrease in the number of patients in the field of education is reported.
Currently, 1,280 people are ill in the Sliven region, and 925 of them are in the municipality of Sliven – in the city itself there are 722 people. Cases of the disease have been registered in most of the settlements.
In early October, a 29-year-old pregnant woman from Plovdiv died of severe COVID, and doctors were unable to save her unborn twins.
