A 25-year-old driver died on the spot in a violent accident that happened last night around 10:20 p.m. at the Haskovo exit in the direction of the “Klokotnitsa” inn, the police reported.
The young man was driving a Mercedes car. On a right turn, he lost control over the vehicle, left the lane to the left in his direction of travel and hit a roadside tree. The driver died on the spot, the 21-year-old driver from Haskovlia was not in danger.
A 53-year-old woman is in hospital after being injured in another accident, the police added. Yesterday at 9:50 a.m. on the Dimitrovgrad – Chernogorovo road, the woman lost control of the Citroen she was driving, went off the right side of the road and hit roadside bushes and trees in fields. There is no danger to her life.
