A twenty-two-year-old man died in a traffic accident, the Police in Pernik reported, quoted by BTA.
The serious accident happened this evening at the exit of the town of Batanovtsi in the direction of Breznik. The car in which the young man was traveling crashed into a tree and three other parked cars.
The reasons for the accident are being clarified.
However, according to Diana Rusinova from the European Center for Transport Policies, the boy is 21 years old.
“The car was traveling at a high speed with a 50 km/h speed limit in a built-up area. For about 90 m it traveled along the curb, then it hit a concrete wall, hit and cut a tree, then it hit three parked cars and finally came to rest on a garbage container. The first parked car was flipped onto its roof as a result of the impact,” she said of the incident.
