A Bulgarian man died after a knife attack in London. 21-year-old Gabriel Stoyanov from Varna was assaulted after midnight on Friday versus Saturday.
The attack took place in a relatively quiet neighborhood in south London. According to investigators, there were three attackers.
The Bulgarian died in hospital on Saturday afternoon. Late yesterday evening, the London Police Department announced the arrest of a 14-year-old boy suspected of the assault.
The statement stated that the investigation was progressing well and several leads were being worked on to identify the other people involved. According to the protocols in place there, the Bulgarian Embassy was informed by the British Police Liaison Officer that they had notified the boy’s family and provided contact details for our consular office.
