A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in Greenland in Oslo – VG

Police are looking for a suspect, who allegedly fled the scene.

A 20-year-old man died after being shot in Greenland early Sunday morning. The man was treated by paramedics at the scene, but was pronounced dead shortly after.

– When we arrive at the scene, we find a person who has been shot. After a while, he is believed to be dead, Oslo police operations manager Line Skott tells VG.

– A witness saw a person flee the scene. We are looking for this person with many police patrols, Skott says.

The police questioned some witnesses, but not many in the area saw what happened.

— We’ve secured several cameras that may have captured the incident on video, and we have several relevant candidates we’re working on to get scrutiny and questioning, Skott tells VG.

Skott says this is not a random victim and that there is no reason to believe there will be danger to anyone else.

Police were notified of the incident at 4.18am Sunday morning. He was a reporter who heard gunshots and called the police.
