The police believe there is a relationship between the victim and the perpetrator. No one has been arrested yet.
– A patrol was contacted by a person with injuries consistent with stab wounds. The victim is conscious and is being assisted by paramedics, Oslo police wrote on Twitter shortly after 01:30.
The victim is a man in his thirties.
He has stab wounds to his upper body and was found in Hammersborggata in central Oslo, says Line operations manager Skott.
The condition is stable.
Police have cordoned off the area they believe may be the crime scene. The Krimvakt is en route to the site to secure any technical traces.
– At the moment, we are not in contact with any witnesses and we have little information on the perpetrator(s). We’re scouring the area for any cameras that may have captured the incident. The victim is taken to the hospital, according to Skott.
In an update at 01:00, the police write that they continue to search for the perpetrator or perpetrators, but have very little to do.
– The victim has not provided us with any information about the perpetrator(s), but it seems that the incident is not accidental, without which we can investigate why we believe it, wrote the police at 01.25.
